Today at the age of 47, Randy Pausch, died from pancreatic cancer. He wrote the "Last Lecture" after his diagnosis in 2006. (That is his quote at the top right of my page) I read the "Last Lecture" and really enjoyed it and was amazed at his outlook on his life. He wrote it for his kids ages 2-9 and even sang to his wife during the lecture at Carnegie Mellon University. I am so sad today for his wife and their 3 children. He was an intelligent and optimistic gentleman. You can view his lecture on the internet or you can buy the book. It is worth the read. He really makes you think about how you spend your life.

My Dad's new toy!
Well, I guess it is a guy thing because when we got this 1953 GMC panel truck last Friday you would have thought we had won the lottery. My Dad was tore all to pieces, not to mention my brother-in-law Brad and my ex Shawn. They went to Nashville to pick it up. It has been in storage for years.

Our Saturday!
This is Saylor on some motorcycle/slash car. It was so cute.
Our next event was my cousin Kaitlyn's wedding. Christian was an usher.
Saylor was the flower girl. She absolutely loved it! I will post more pics of the wedding soon. It was beautiful!

More from our vacation
Saylor trying to win biggest splash! Which she didn't.
She did get third in littlest splash.
Several of us at Calypso eating dinner.
Saylor got swimmer's ear while we were on vacation (of course)
so she wore ear plugs.
