Christian went with most of the Boyd High School team to Van Buren County for a couple of practice games. The seniors Casey Myers, Cole Stubblefield and Lucas Majors coached and Chris Sullens of course did his share too. This is Casey giving Christian some advice during one of the games. Casey is one of my favorite people at Boyd. He is an awesome kid and is so good to Christian.

I gotta brag a little.....
Boyd's 7th and 8th grade played Irving College last night and came away with a win for the girl's and boy's teams!!! Christian scored 19 of his team's 39 points. He was so pumped after the game! I was a proud Mom too! His team plays really well together and does great passing the ball around. Congratulations to all of them.

Saylor's officially a Bronco!
Today Saylor began school at Boyd Christian. I knew she wanted to go next year but for some reason during Christmas break she just kept saying she felt like she needed to go now. lol She kept asking and her wish was granted. It is such a good school and most people don't really know what a good place it is. Christian is so happy there and now Saylor will be too. Tonight on our way home she said, "Mom, I love Boyd."
So Goooooo Broncos!!!

Welcome 2009!
Happy New Year everyone. We went to my aunt and uncle's at Harvest Farms last night. We had a great time. They cooked steak and chicken kabobs and twice baked potatoes with salad and rolls. It was really good! We had desserts and snacks during the night too. The highlight of the night was Rock Band. We played for hours. Saylor really got into playing drums and as the night went on got up enough nerve to sing. It was so cute. Every now and then she would let out a"Wooo hoooo" and I would crack up. After midnight we all rolled a cabbage in the front door and they are cooking it today to eat. I didn't know you were suppose to roll it in the door. We bruised that cabbage to death. Speaking of death, when we got home about 1 am I found our goldfish in my bedroom floor (gross). One of our cats knocked it over and left water all over the kitchen floor. I guess cats celebrate the new year by eating fish. lol
Any who, have a great 2009 and enjoy life.
