It's a UT weekend!!

We are heading to Pigeon Forge tomorrow to spend the weekend in a cabin and go to the UT/Georgia ballgame. I got my dad and Christian tix for Christmas. It is going to be so cold!!! I am excited though and Christian has his UT gear ready to go.

Saylor now has strep throat which I assume she caught from me but no more. I get my tonsils out on February 20th. I am nervous but hopefully it will be worth it. According to the doc they are pretty large.

Tim and Faith Concert

Okay, Mandy and I are huge Tim McGraw and Faith Hill Fans. We have been to sooo many shows over the years. Today we got tickets to a benefit for the Nashville Habitat for Humanity they are doing. Front row balcony at the Hall where the Nashville Symphony plays. It is a small venue and should be an intimate show. The money goes to a great cause so it is a win/win for us!! It is January 30th so it is only 2 weeks away!! I can't wait!

Mexico here I come!

Well look out Cancun, the girls are coming soon. I booked a vacation this past week with Tammy Young, Wendy Beaty and Susan Mullin to Cancun, Mexico. WooHOO!!! I can't wait. We leave in August. The diet is on!!! This is our hotel. Awesome!

Back to the Daily Grind

Well I know most everyone is back to their daily routine, but with me having strep throat starting New Year's Day I didn't get to go back to work on Jan. 2nd like I was suppose to. I was at the doctor's office two days in a row. I have to go see about having the old tonsils out on the 21st. (ugh!) I had the worst case I had ever had. It was like swallowing razor blades. I am much better now and tomorrow the kids go back to school and I will head back to work for the first time this year. I am glad to be getting back to "normal" around here. Plus, I don't get paid to lay around the house. LOL Hope your new year is going well.

Nothing like a New Year!

Well if you have known me long at all you know that I get sick everytime we have a vacation planned or there is a holiday. I am cursed I think. Our first trip to Disney with the kids I got strep the day we left. Our plane was delayed about 3 hours so we didn't leave Nashville till about 11:30 pm. The next night Saylor started crying at midnight and didn't stop till about 4 am. She had strep and then Mandy got strep the day after that. LOL!! Christian never go it but the day we were leaving he got a stomach bug and puked all over my relatives beautiful tile floors. (splat) It was the trip from hell. We have been twice since then and they have been much better trips. But I digress, LOL, I have strep throat again!!! They suggested I have my tonsils out since I have it so much. GREAT, right? So I go to an ENT in M'boro January 21st. Last year on this date I was having my first root canal. I really know how to ring in a new year!!!
