Grandparents

Today at Bobby Ray was Grandparent's Day. Saylor invited my mom and dad ( Nan and Poppy) to come eat with her. They of course said yes. But when something came up in Cookeville where my dad's plant is my mom said it would be too hard to get back by her lunch time. My dad quickly told her he wasn't missing it! I thought that was awesome! He came back from Cookeville early and went to school and had lunch with her and then went to her class and met her teacher, Mrs. Sadie Newby. After that Saylor had him sit down so she could read to him. I wish I could have been there to see my dad sitting in those tiny chairs. He is 6'4" and I am sure looked quite comical sitting there. It is amazing what grandparents will do for their grandkids. That little lunch meant the world to Saylor and she will always remember how good her Poppy was to her. Thanks, DAD!
