Rascal Flatts was AWESOME!!!!

Yes, we had a blast at the concert Friday night. We got downtown and payed $20 to park the car. Isn't that crazy? LOL Then we walked down to 2nd Avenue and ate dinner at the Melting Pot. What an experience. That was the best chocolate and cheese ever and the most I think I have ever paid for a meal ; ) It was really fun though. Then off to the show. Jason Aldean opend for them and he was really good. Lots of energy and pretty cute too!!

Jason Aldean
But Jason was nothing compared to the excitement when Rascal Flatts came out. That place went wild. OH, I forgot to mention, we were on the 3rd row!!!! It was amazing! Talk about some good guys. All the money from the show was donated to Vanderbilt Children's Hospital which wound up to be $821,000!!! So our ticket money went to a great cause!!

40 Years!!!!! Wow!

Today is my mom and dad's 40th Wedding Anniversary. Is that not unbelievable in this day? I am amazed at them. They have always had a great marriage and given my sister and I so much to be thankful for. They truly are great parents and role models for me and my kids. WE are having a bar-b-que for them at Harvest Farms tomorrow night to celebrate. It should be great fun! Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad. I love you!

High School Musical

As an added bonus for Mallory's birthday her mom and I got tickets to High School Musical On Ice. We got downtown early Sunday morning because the Titans had a home game and we wanted to find a parking place. After we parked we walked down Broadway and took pics of the kiddos in neat places.

Saylor loves Elvis and so this photo was a lot of fun for her.

The World Famous Tootsie's Orchid Lounge!

We had a great time exploring downtown Nashville and High School Musical was awesome!!

Mallory's Birthday

Friday night we went to the Boro for Mallory Brandon's 7th birthday. Her mom Mindy cuts my hair and we have become great friends. Saylor didn't know any of the kids but she had fun. It was a High School Musical party and they sang and danced and did the normal birthday stuff. Saylor then spent the night with Mallory and said she barely missed me. : ( I like to be missed. LOL This picture is one I caught of Saylor looking at Mallory's birthday card. Pretty funn if you ask me.

Art class and Andy Warhol

I am so excited that Saylor has started taking art class at Chole's Art Gallery. Her teacher is the greatly talented Brandie Mansfield. She was really pumped last Thursday when I took her to her first class. They are studying Andy Warhol which is the coolest thing. I can't wait to see the things my little artist makes. It is so fun to watch her learn new things and expand her mind. Thanks Linda and Brandie for this great opportunity for her!

Warren Co. A & L Fair

It's fair time in Tennessee!!! Are you ready? Well I guess I am. At least it is not 100 degrees outside although it is not a whole lot cooler. Saylor is getting more excited each day and can't wait to start riding and visiting the animals. Christian hasn't said much. He is just glad school is out on Friday for the fair. Typical boy and middle schooler I guess.

The Jaycees food booth opened today and we will be open everyday through next Saturday night. All proceeds from out booth go to our Christmas party for needy kids. So come out and eat with us and support a good cause. See you at the fair!!!
